Press Start Show for 3-21-2007

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

I guess it had to happen sometime.  This week marks Dave’s last show in-studio.  He’ll stay on as website staff and pop in now and again, but you can hopefully expect to hear some new voices accompanying Justin in the coming weeks.

This week, we report on franchises jumping from the PS3, a new Katamari game, and the much-rumored NiGHTS on the Wii!  Lowercase i’s for everyone.

And of course as always the Press Start Postshow is a time of great tomfoolery.

Press Start Show for 3-14-07

Some things go incredibly right (like our discussion about game journalism and its relationship to corporations), and then other things go incredibly wrong (like me fouling up the exact date the man behind Studio Hunty is supposed to appear on the show).

No problem, though. He’ll be on next week. In the meantime, enjoy the GDC recap, as only Dave Hampton and his ruthless, yet incredibly attractive, arch-nemesis, Justin Fassino, can bring you. Check out the LittleBigPlanet trailer, and download the show!

Press Start Show for 3-7-2007

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

Man it’s hard to come back every week and think of new ways to say “here is our radio show please enjoy it.”

This week’s music is from the Chrono Cross soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda.  No postshow this week since we had to run off after the show to take care of academic obligations, but that will be returning next week.  Email us and tell us how angry you are.

Better yet, challenge us to Worms on XBL.

Why here it is.

We mentioned some links to YouTube videos during the show.  Unfortunately, their site’s search function is down right now, and we aren’t able to find the links in question.  They should be relatively easy to find once that comes back up.  Apologies for the inconvenience!
