You know the drill by now.

Today’s show goes up early!  Since Justin’s voice didn’t return until just yesterday and we’re both out of town tomorrow, we recorded this week’s show early.  Among other fun things, we discuss the launches of the PS3 and the Wii, Gears of War (at last), and provide snarky commentary on each.  No postshow this week.  Please enjoy!

A microbiological attack deep within the confines of my throat has temporarily incapacitated my verbal skills. Ergo, the show we promised for today was moved further back this weekend, hopefully at which time my lungs will stay firmly anchored in my thoracic cavity.

Apologies for these unexpected developments.

Due to station events this week, Press Start will not be heard at its regular time. Instead, Dave and I are going out on a radical drinking binge the likes of which the world has never known. And by drinking, we mean Gears of War, which it just so happens is utterly epic.

A full review of that game as well as the exploits of the brave souls who have camped out at the local Best Buy in the hopes of getting their mitts on a PS3 will all be coming in a special internet-only edition of Press Start. Look for it this Friday, November 17.
