Of course, we’d much prefer it if Press Start wasn’t over. We have every intention of keeping the show going, but we’ll be likely taking some time to figure out a new format and a new workflow. It’s almost as if I never left considering how often I end up in the studio.

This week, we tell you that Aegis Wing on the XBLA is actually quite good, and is getting a lot more play than the Halo 3 beta that people can’t download yet, except for those that can. We cover Squeenix’s big party, the forthcoming release of Tecmo Bowl (!!!), and forthcoming cellphone games. And of course, the inevitable game that we don’t like has made the rounds recently.

Music this week is from the concept album Atebite and the Warring Nations by disasterPEACE. Modern percussion and vintage 8-bit noises. Good stuff.
